Our Christmas meeting was made all the more special today when we inducted a new Rotarian and two new Honorary Members. Alyson Hopcroft had attended as a guest of member Paul Turner for a number of weeks and we were delighted when she accepted our invitation to become a member of our club. Alyson lives in Sandiacre and is the Finance Director of a local family company and was looking for a new challenge and interest. We also recognised the efforts of two other people who have shown great support for the club. Maurice Davey, father of our member Simon Davey, is always there to help when we have a project and we have to sometimes rein him in. Connie Turton has spoken at our club on a number of occasions and we have been delighted to support her charitable and conservation work. Welcome all three of you to the Rotary Family and more especially the madcap world of Dawnbreakers. Our picture shows Membership Chairman Paul Turner; new Rotarian Alyson Hopcroft; President Stephen Kitch; and Honorary Members Connie and Maurice.
